2026 – The year of the Oyster
A review of 2025 – Also the year of the Oyster.
We would like to begin by thanking all of those that have supported us over 2025, including the great hosts of some of the best food festivals in the UK and the happy wedding couples who enjoyed oysters to compliment their celebrations.
Our first Oyster Club was a great success with thanks to Juniors Deli in Whitstable. Thank you to all those who attended and provided great feedback for which we shall be taking in our stride to improve our variety and quality of recipes as we progress through 2026.
In 2025 we had our first full season, showcasing our shucking skills across the UK, at a range of food and wine festivals with great response from oyster veterans and the oyster virgins when they tried our freshly shucked oysters. We do oysters the right way.
Oyster Buoys look forward to 2026
Oyster Buoys have been working hard this winter to improve our oyster offerings for 2026, and promote the great British Oyster.
Last year we saw a number of bookings for our Roaming Oyster Shucker Service, perfect for weddings and celebrations amongst friends. Our shucking skills are presented in an engaging theatre with great feedback. We are currently taking bookings for 2026 and beyond, get in touch with us here if you are looking for a private hire oyster shucker.
Our knowledge gained from working in the UK shellfish industry is always growing. We strive to pass that knowledge onto our clients in a range of engaging and entertaining methods, primarily through our masterclasses which can be booked for a range of group sizes.
We shall be increasing our repertoire this year with new oyster offerings. A new bespoke way to enjoy oysters your which shall be unveiled very very soon. Watch this space…
Public Events and Food Festivals 2026
Alongside this we have a full stacked calendar of public events, featuring our favourites from the past few years. Find out where we shall be shucking this year. We shall be exploring further afield to bring the great taste of UK oyster farms to the nation.
Oyster Club
Our first Oyster Club of 2026 shall be hosted by Baltic House Wine Bar in Faversham. Limited Tickets are available here. We hope to bring more of these as the year progresses introducing an Oyster Buoys twist to enhance the flavour of one of the most sustainable and tasty forms of protein available. A staple of the British diet for hundreds of years.
