We are delighted to be returning to the New Forest Food Festival, hosted this year at the stunning Hinton Admiral Events Field in Hampshire.

The New Forest has long been a home to incredible artisan producers, and this festival is a testament to the region’s rich culinary heritage. At Oyster Buoys, we believe that the best food experiences are rooted in a sense of place. This weekend, our mobile raw bar will be front and centre, serving up the best of our coastal catch. From our signature freshly shucked rock oysters—served naked to highlight their natural brininess or with our house-made mignonette—to our crowd-favourite hot tempura oysters, we are bringing the spirit of the sea to the heart of Hampshire.

A festival of this calibre is all about finding the perfect harmony of flavours. We are particularly excited to highlight Setley Ridge Vineyard, a standout producer located right here in the New Forest. Their sparkling wines provide that quintessential English crispness and refined acidity that cuts beautifully through the richness of our tempura oysters. It is a pairing that captures the unique terroir of the region—a union of the forest and the coast that we can’t wait for you to taste.
The Theatre of the Shuck
At Oyster Buoys, we specialize in the “theatre” of the shuck.
